Our Puppy Vaccination Schedule
Our vaccination protocol adheres to a worldwide standard. We will register the vaccination history of the dog in its vaccination booklet. Dogs can only travel after getting all the necessary vaccines. The dog’s exact delivery time is calculated from the day it has received its Rabies vaccination shot. This period is defined according to the legislation imposed by the dog’s destination country.
The Parvo vaccination shot is given when the puppy is between 6 to 8 weeks old. It is very important for the puppy to be given this vaccination shot before the end of its suckling period. The vaccination is accompanied by deworming treatment.
The puppy’s immune system is ready to be vaccinated once more, two weeks after the first inoculation. A Distemper, Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Parvo combination vaccine is given to the puppy. We also make sure that the puppy receives deworming treatment after his vaccination.
The above core vaccinations for Distemper, Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvo are repeated again three weeks later. We make sure that the puppy is also given deworming treatment on this occasion.
The puppy is finally vaccinated against Rabies virus when it is 90 days old.*
In some countries, Rabies vaccinations are accepted from 12 weeks of age. In such occasions, we will arrange for the Rabies vaccination as soon as possible so the puppy can become eligible for travel.
Some countries require a Rabies Antibody Titer Test (RATT) to be conducted at 15 weeks or 4 months old. On such occasions, the puppy will only be eligible for travel after testing immune to Rabies.
